Dafe Software began in December 2019 with a simple conviction held by founder Jefferson Orakpoyovwuru (Odafe): that ambitious founders, growing businesses, and underserved communities deserve software built with the same craft, ambition, and reliability as the products coming out of the world's biggest tech hubs.
What started as a one-person studio quickly became a cross-border engineering company, incorporated in Nigeria in 2020 as Dafe Software Ltd. (RC 1652341) and in Canada in 2024 (Registration 1645239-6), building web, mobile, and desktop products for clients across Africa, North America, and Europe.
Today we partner with founders in Healthcare, Education, Finance & Banking, Retail & E-commerce, Oil & Gas, Hospitality, and the Public Sector, turning rough ideas into shipped products, untangling legacy systems, and giving lean teams the engineering muscle of a much larger company.

Dafe Software was founded by Jefferson Orakpoyovwuru after years of watching brilliant founders, especially across Africa and emerging markets, struggle to find engineering partners who could ship quality software without burning their entire runway.
He built Dafe Software to close that gap: a serious engineering studio that small teams can actually afford, and that larger organizations can rely on when in-house bandwidth runs out. The mandate has not changed since day one: build software that works, for people who need it to work.
We do that by going deep on a handful of scalable, modern technologies and by being honest about scope, timelines, and trade-offs. Our technology choices come from years of shipping in production, not from chasing what's trending.
The result is a team built on quality, transparency, and open-mindedness: an environment where our engineers grow, our clients win, and the products we ship genuinely improve the businesses and communities they serve.
